A Blueprint for Change

Creating systems level change for the Sacramento and Stockton region.

Wed, Sep 23, 4:00 pm (PDT)

About this event

Our conversation is the first in a series called A Blueprint for Change, that will discuss the K12 Blueprint Project sponsored by the California Funders for Boys and Men of Color, the Sierra Health Foundation and the Sacramento Region Community Foundation. Through this effort community based organizations worked to develop a local and regional education blueprint for both Sacramento and San Joaquin counties to increase the number of boys and men of color accessing and completing associates-to-transfer degree programs, high value career-technical certificate programs or bachelors programs.

The education blueprint is a groundbreaking approach to system level change. Through this series we will bring together leaders in the Sacramento and Stockton communities who will share their vision for, and experiences with, developing this education blueprint. Over three episodes we will explore 1) how various community stakeholders participated in and informed this work, 2) an initial set of recommendations for an education blueprint, and 3) how organizations, practitioners, and other stakeholders can support and continue this work throughout our region
